Latham Industries and Spirit Electronics Bring Together Woman-Owned Businesses to Drive Advanced Manufacturing in Phoenix

PHOENIX, September 24, 2021 — Spirit Electronics and Latham Industries, two woman-owned business with deep experience in advanced manufacturing, today announced their partnership to provide commercial and aerospace and defense (A&D) customers with a one-stop shop for electronic manufacturing, components, and distribution. The two companies have uniquely gained from business programs offered by the City of Phoenix and are focused on creating new job opportunities and bringing more technology business to Arizona.
“We are hosting a ribbon cutting on Friday, September 24, and then the party begins,” said Marti McCurdy, owner and CEO of Spirit Electronics. “Our friends from Mercury, Moog, Raytheon, and Viasat will be joining the office of Senator Mark Kelly, Phoenix Councilwoman Debra Stark, plus Phoenix Mayor Kate Gallego to help us celebrate the accomplishments of woman-owned advanced manufacturing in Arizona.”

She also created Spirit Gives, the philanthropic arm of Spirit Electronics, to support local military families from tour of duty through civilian transition with events, activities and philanthropy.
